  • Yes our paper cups are 100% recyclable.
  • In order to ensure the used cups are received by our team in the best condition for recycling they should be places in segregated waste streams by the consumer once they are finished with. The segregated waste stream also ensures that it can be taken to one of the four mills re-pulping cups, or to the facilities processing them into novel plastics.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”What are Paper Cups made from?”][vc_column_text]Paper cups are generally 95% (by weight) paper or card and 5% a thin coating. The coating is bonded to the cup in order to prevent the cardboard fibre from absorbing liquid contained within the cup and therefore becoming wet and collapsing. Polyethene plastic (PE) is the most prevalent coating material.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Artwork & Design Possibilities”][vc_column_text]In what size or format do I need to provide my artwork?

In case you have your artwork for the paper cup ready, you can simply share your artwork specs so we can formulate a mockup.  OR Email us your cup mock up; info@gonsepackaging.com

What is I only need a sample 1 or 2 color cup?
1 color is not the same as 6 colors. There’s always an incremental cost as colors increase.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”What printing styles and colours are available?”][vc_column_text]Gonse Packaging (U) Ltd manufactures single wall, double wall and ice cream cups, in full-colour CMYK process in high-resolution, all-over printing. (Full wrap). This means any combination of colours, images, and design can be achieved without any extra cost. Check out on our portfolio page for nice paper cup print examples.

How many colours can I print?

Any amount of colours you like as CMYK printing is limitless. All Pantone PMS colors are converted to CMYK. Please bear in mind that some conversions, especially oranges, don’t convert 100%. Our artwork team will advise on any problems.

What if I only need a simple 1 or 2 colour cup?

1 color is the same as 6 colors to us. There’s no cost difference in CMYK printing. So, don’t be afraid to add as many colours or images as you like.

CAN THE ENTIRE PAPER CUP BE PRINTED ON – INCLUDING THE BOTTOM RIM?

Yes, the base of the double-wall can be printed, although it slightly increases the cost of the cup. If you’re doing just a colour match this will work just fine. But, if you are trying to match up lines between the base of the cup and the double-wall, that won’t work. Our single wall cups incorporate complete print coverage as well.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”FAQs about Lids”][vc_column_text]

Do I require lids for my paper cups?

If your customers are purchasing a hot drink to be taken away with them then lids are recommended.

Do you print on top of the lids?

We do not have the capability to print on lids. Our machines can only print on the sides of the cups.

What are the options for lid customisations?

There is a possibility of any colour, but this requires a minimum order quantity in from hundreds of thousands to millions. So, to keep costs down, we supply the stock black and white plastic lids as standard.

Are lids considered as separate costs?

Yes, we consider these a separate purchase – but ordering is easy! Just request a product quote here.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Payments, Orders & Deliveries”][vc_column_text]

Our minimum order at the moment is 1,000 cups. Our full capacity is over 20 million cups per year.

Can you provide printed paper coffee cups wrapped individually?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer individually wrapped printed cups.
Our products all go through the same production process that involves bagging certain quantities of cups together in stacks that are then packed in the same size cases. The quantities per case vary on the size of cup.
